The Category Manager drives the commercial performance, strategic development, and lifecycle management of key treatment categories across the clinic network. This role oversees pricing, portfolio strategy, and go-to-market initiatives while leading cross-functional project management to ensure timely and successful execution of category priorities. Working closely with clinical, marketing, and operational teams, the Category Manager ensures sustainable revenue growth and best-in-class patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Growth & Category Management
- Lead new offer development, launches, and post-launch performance tracking.
- Execute revenue-driving initiatives and campaigns (offer setup, pricing updates)
- Recommend portfolio enhancements or rationalizations based on revenue, adoption, and patient outcomes.
- Ensure category strategy aligns with clinical best practices.
Project Ownership & Execution
- Own and manage cross-functional category roadmaps from strategy to execution.
- Lead project planning, stakeholder alignment, timeline management, and performance tracking.
Pricing & Revenue Analysis
- Analyze pricing, margin, and promotional performance across services, treatments, and retail categories.
- Identify opportunities to optimize pricing, discounting, and revenue mix.
- Deliver actionable reports to guide commercial decision-making and strategy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with clinical teams to align category strategy with patient needs and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop launch materials, training, and patient education content.
- Work with operations and regional teams to ensure flawless execution of offers.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track category KPIs, including revenue, treatment uptake, patient adoption, and ROI on campaigns.
- Provide actionable insights to leadership to inform decisions and optimize strategy.
- Continuously evaluate initiatives to improve performance and patient experience.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in category management, product management, or commercial strategy (within medical aesthetics industry is a strong asset).
- Understanding of EBD, laser, or related aesthetic technologies and their application to patient outcomes.
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth through strategic planning and commercial activation.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with sales and market data analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively across commercial, training marketing and operational teams.
- Bilingual ENG/FR required.
Location: Hybrid – Griffintown (Office 2 days/Week)
