Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Team Member to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation, and supporting daily restaurant operations. Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Moneris POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including upselling menu items when appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food safety procedures, proper food handling, and sanitation protocols
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely order fulfillment during busy periods
- Support team members in serving guests promptly and courteously
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food preparation, serving, cashiering, and food safety standards is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Moneris POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order processing
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Kitchen experience or restaurant experience is desirable but not mandatory
- Commitment to maintaining sanitation standards and adhering to health regulations
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
