OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Product Consultant, Recruitment Digitization (Workday) to support the Talent Acquisition Centre of Excellence within the client's People & Culture organization. This role serves as a strategic advisor and solution partner, responsible for advancing recruitment technology initiatives, supporting Workday change delivery, and ensuring continuity of critical talent acquisition programs during a maternity leave coverage period.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, HR technology teams, and external partners to gather requirements, validate solutions, manage testing activities, and drive system enhancements that support recruitment operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong Workday, testing, and business analysis experience who can operate independently while effectively influencing cross-functional stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead regression testing and validation activities for Workday Talent Acquisition processes across cross-functional system changes, ensuring end-to-end process integrity.
- Support governance, compliance, and regulatory-driven updates, including candidate communications, privacy requirements, and audit readiness initiatives.
- Validate, refine, and document business requirements for Workday change requests, ensuring clarity, completeness, and alignment with existing system design.
- Analyze business challenges and recommend scalable technology solutions that improve recruitment operations and user experience.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and manage business, functional, and system requirements.
- Facilitate requirements workshops and stakeholder discussions using structured business analysis methodologies.
- Conduct impact assessments, risk analysis, and dependency reviews for system enhancements and change initiatives.
- Partner with technology, HR, and vendor teams to support solution design, testing, deployment, and adoption activities.
- Support roadmap planning activities, including annual and multi-year recruitment technology initiatives.
- Perform root-cause analysis and contribute to issue resolution and continuous improvement efforts.
- Provide analytical insights and recommendations through data analysis, reporting, and business assessments.
- Review and assess business and process documentation to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and operational requirements.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support successful project execution and solution delivery.
- Support Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies as appropriate.
- Maintain compliance with organizational risk management, governance, and regulatory frameworks.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- 3–5+ years of experience in Product Consulting, Business Analysis, HR Technology, Workday, or related roles.
- Experience supporting Workday Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Digitization, or HR technology initiatives.
- Strong hands-on experience with testing methodologies, including regression testing, validation, defect management, and user acceptance testing.
- Experience gathering, documenting, validating, and managing business and system requirements.
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and iterative delivery approaches.
- Strong understanding of business analysis techniques, requirements management, and process improvement methodologies.
- Experience working with enterprise technologies and business applications, including Microsoft technologies, SharePoint, and relational databases.
- Ability to perform impact assessments, feasibility studies, business cases, and cost-benefit analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, Technology, or a related discipline.
Preferred
- Workday Pro Certification.
- Experience supporting Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Operations, or HR Technology functions.
- Experience within large enterprise environments.
- Previous financial services or banking industry experience.
- Knowledge of governance, compliance, privacy, and regulatory requirements impacting recruitment technology.
- Experience contributing to technology roadmaps, strategic planning, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with user-centered design principles and change management practices.
EDUCATION
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, Technology, or a related field.
