We are seeking an Exterior Renovation Carpenter to join our growing team. We specialize in high-quality residential exterior renovations throughout Belleville, Napanee, Prince Edward County, and the surrounding areas.
This position is ideal for a skilled carpenter who has extensive experience working on existing homes and cottages. The successful candidate will be confident working independently, capable of solving problems on site, and committed to producing exceptional workmanship with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of exterior renovation projects, including:
- Exterior wall repairs and structural repairs.
- Removal and replacement of siding, soffit, fascia, and exterior trim.
- Window and exterior door installation and replacement.
- Deck construction, repairs, and structural upgrades.
- Roofing repairs and flashing installation.
- Water damage repairs and exterior restoration.
- Framing and structural modifications required during renovations.
- Installation of weather barriers, flashing, and moisture protection systems.
- Reading drawings, measurements, and project scopes.
- Identifying hidden deficiencies and recommending practical solutions.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
- Working professionally around homeowners and occupied residences.
- Communicating effectively with supervisors, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Following Ontario Health & Safety regulations and company safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on carpentry experience, with the majority focused on exterior residential renovations.
- Proven experience with siding, windows, doors, decks, framing repairs, roofing details, flashing, and exterior finishing.
- Strong understanding of water management, building envelope systems, and proper installation methods.
- Ability to identify structural issues and perform repairs safely.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- A valid G Driver's Licence.
- A complete set of carpentry hand tools and cordless power tools.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, work at heights, and perform demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
The following certifications and experience are considered strong assets:
- Working at Heights Certification (current).
- Ontario Worker Health & Safety Awareness.
- Red Seal Carpenter or registered apprenticeship.
- Experience with custom cottages and waterfront properties.
- Experience operating skid steers, lifts, or telehandlers.
- Experience installing premium siding products including James Hardie, LP SmartSide, Maibec, vinyl, aluminum, and composite materials.

- Napanee
- Prince Edward County
- Greater Quinte Region
