ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate, as required according to the New Product Development - Process Flow Diagram, in the process of developing new products.
- Involved in activities leading to certification and compliance of the extruded and fabricated products, including AAMA, CSA and Energy Star.
- ERP software setup and maintenance Assist to develop new products, designs, processes, materials, etc. Prepare project quotation based on customer requisition
- Communicate effectively with sales representatives and clients Produce profile drawings, assembly & fabrication drawing.
- Organize drawings and data produced in the department. Ensure all parts made per engineering drawing meet the specs.
- Prepare bill for material order. Help Produce drawings for QC Department and help QC departments in approval process.
- Co-operate with window fabricator customers for proper fabrication of window. Prepare product price list
- Collaborate with others as a part of a team
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Strong ability to work with AutoCAD
- Possess exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read blue prints
- Computer proficiency in word processing and data management programs
- Mathematical skills are an asset
ACADEMIC AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- University or College Diploma or 3 years’ experience in same field
