Summary
Vimsoft is seeking a Business Systems Specialist to support and strengthen customer delivery through hands‑on ownership of system configuration, environments, data, releases, and operational workflows.
This is a hands‑on delivery role focused on how VimBiz is configured, validated, operated, and used in real customer environments. You will work closely with Customer Success, Implementation, QA, Product, and Engineering to ensure the system behaves as expected and supports customer operations effectively.
This is not a project management or people management role. Success in this position comes from strong system understanding, practical problem‑solving, and the ability to take ownership of operational details that directly impact customers.
Primary Duties
- Act as a hands‑on specialist for VimBiz system configuration, behavior, and operational use across customer environments.
- Support delivery activities for both implementation projects and production customers.
- Work directly with internal teams to validate configurations, workflows, data setups, and release readiness.
- Investigate and troubleshoot system behavior, data issues, or configuration gaps using a methodical, detail‑oriented approach.
- Support customer delivery activities involving environments, upgrades, imports, validations, or system changes.
- Help prepare, validate, and support release candidate testing and production readiness.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to resolve complex or recurring customer issues that require deeper system understanding.
- Coordinate with QA, Product, and Engineering when system behavior or configuration changes require clarification or follow‑up.
- Contribute to documentation, internal guides, checklists, and operational best practices related to system usage and delivery.
- Identify operational risks or inconsistencies early and take action to prevent customer impact.
- Serve as a reliable point of reference for system behavior and delivery‑related questions.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working with complex business or enterprise software systems in a delivery, operations, or customer‑facing technical role.
- Demonstrated hands‑on experience with system configuration, validation, data handling, or environment support.
- Proven ability to independently investigate and resolve system or workflow issues beyond basic support scenarios.
- Demonstrated experience being trusted with production or pre‑production systems, including making or validating changes that carried real operational risk.
- Experience personally responsible for end‑to‑end completion of system‑level tasks (e.g. upgrades, data imports, validations, environment preparation), rather than only coordinating or requesting work.
- Proven history of being relied upon as a go‑to system expert when standard procedures or documentation were insufficient.
- Experience where missing a detail or making the wrong call would have had visible operational or customer impact.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of system‑related work without relying on escalation, constant review, or step‑by‑step instructions.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience supporting SaaS or enterprise software in production environments.
- Exposure to system upgrades, release validation, data imports, integrations, or environment management.
- Background in operations, business systems, technical support, implementation, or delivery roles.
- Experience working with customers in media, broadcast, or operationally complex environments.
- Interest in improving delivery reliability through better tooling, documentation, and operational practices.
