Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Collaborative Lawyer to join our legal team. Responsibilities
- Advise clients on collaborative law processes and alternative dispute resolution methods
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support our clients
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents, agreements, and pleadings with precision and clarity
- Negotiate effectively to reach mutually beneficial agreements
- Facilitate communication between clients, mediators, and other stakeholders to promote cooperative outcomes
- Maintain detailed case files and ensure compliance with all legal standards and ethical guidelines
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in collaborative law
- Participate in team building and professional development
- Maintain organized records and ensure cross-departmental collaboration to provide client centered care through the legal process
- Make every effort to divert legal dispute to out of court options
- Assist with departmental projects to improve processes and ensure consistent service for our clients
Experience
- 2 + years experience in collaborative law and family law
- Strong research skills
- Proficiency with technology and cloud based programs
- Negotiation skills
- Alternative dispute resolution experience and training
- Excellent writing skills for drafting clear and effective legal documents
- Experience in legal drafting, including agreements, motions, and pleadings
- Prior experience working collaboratively with clients and other legal professionals
- Arbitration designation is an asset

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
