Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Truck Driver(US border crossing) - Class 1 to join our transportation team. This role involves safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience with heavy equipment (less than a year is also accepted), and a commitment to operational excellence. Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks for US and regional freight deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during transportation activities
- Assist with the securement of freight to prevent damage during transit
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
Skills
- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations
- Strong organizational skills for managing delivery schedules and documentation
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
