Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and licensed 310T Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive repair, heavy equipment maintenance, and industrial machinery. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. The licensed 310T will work in a dynamic environment that requires mechanical expertise, technical knowledge, and excellent problem-solving skills to support our operations effectively.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on vehicles and machinery using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery
- Operate industrial equipment safely and efficiently during repair or maintenance procedures
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete repairs
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, mechanical components, and hydraulic systems to identify issues
- Follow safety protocols and ensure all work complies with industry standards
- Assist with assembly, disassembly, and installation of various mechanical parts
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair findings clearly and professionally
Skills
- Valid 310T license with relevant certification
- Extensive dealership experience preferred
- Proficiency in operating heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and industrial equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive repair, HVAC systems, welding, electrical systems, and farm machinery
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance procedures
- Heavy lifting capability and physical stamina for demanding tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Customer service skills for effective communication with clients or team members
- Knowledge of assembly processes and the use of various industrial tools
