Job Description:
Wage:
$16-$18 an hour
Permanent – Part-Time
Shifts & Schedule:
· 6-8 Hours/Weekly (two shifts, weekdays)
· Summer Schedule: Month of August - 1 Day/week (flexible on Day)
· Fall Schedule: Monday & Thursday (Mornings 8:00-11:00 or 9:00-12:00 or Evenings (8:30-11:30pm)
· Flexible scheduling available (would prefer cleaning to be done when no athletes/customers are in the facility)
Start Date:
· Anticipated Start Date: Week of Tuesday August 4 – Friday August 7
What you’ll be doing:
· Empty garbage and recycling – Office, Bathrooms & Common Area Garbages
· Wiping down storage cubbies – Athlete Cubbies & Shoe racks
· Wipe down high-touch surfaces (door handles, railings, benches etc.)
· Dusting and Wiping down of baseboards & walls
· Sweep, Mop & Vacuum – Common Areas (Lobby & Viewing area), Gymnastics Floors, Bathrooms, Offices etc.
· Cleaning Bathrooms & Change Areas – wiping down sinks, stalls & toilets, replacing toilet paper/paper towel & soap, etc.
· Wash and Sanitize Gymnastics Equipment and Mats
· Other miscellaneous cleaning tasks
· Making sure the place looks neat and tidy
· Assist with occasional deeper cleaning tasks as needed
What we are looking for:
· Able to work independently, with little to no supervision.
· Trustworthy, honest individual capable of following schedules and communicating efficiently
· Reliable and detail oriented cleaner to help keep our facility safe, clean and welcoming
· Ability to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
· Excellent time management and organizational skills to help stay on task.
· Comfortable working around gymnastics equipment and large spaces
· Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (moving of equipment is sometimes required)
· Previous cleaning experience is an asset but not required
Additional Information:
· Eclipse Gymnastics is a family run facility which has been operating since 2014. The right candidate would have the opportunity to grow with the company. All training hours are paid, and a wage increase would be available after 3-months of employment based on performance.
