ATQLeads — Growth Marketer (Immediate Start)
We have a client engagement starting in the next few days and are looking to match the right operator now. If you're available and qualified, this moves fast.
It would be for 20 hours per week for an undefined period.
ATQLeads builds GTM systems for B2B companies that have stopped relying on agencies and can't justify full-time hires. We sit between the two: a network of vetted GTM operators who plug directly into client teams — their tools, their Slack, their stack — and deliver results, not billable hours.
We don't sell retainers. We deploy capacity. If you want to own real work, operate inside real companies, and be paid like a partner rather than a vendor, this is the right place.
Role Overview
The Growth Marketer is the experimentation engine that turns a functional funnel into one that compounds over time. Without one, clients stay reactive — funnel problems get patched by guessing, retention goes unmeasured, and acquisition spend scales linearly instead of compounding.
You won't receive campaign assignments. You'll be handed a funnel, a product, and a capacity commitment. Your job is to find the highest-impact bottleneck, design the experiment that targets it, and turn the learnings into a system that builds on itself.
Our current client engagements are primarily in PLG and Fintech — experience in either space is a strong advantage.
What You'll Own
Four interconnected systems, end-to-end:
Experimentation Engine — structured test cycles with defined hypothesis, target metric, control/variant, sample size, runtime, and decision rules. Sequential roadmap so each result feeds the next. Prioritization by impact × confidence × ease.
Funnel Diagnostics — conversion rates at every stage (signup → activation → paid → retention), cohort retention curves, segmented cohort analysis, full AARRR audits, root cause diagnosis (targeting, messaging, product experience, or pricing).
Growth Loops — identify which loops apply (referral, content flywheel, product-led, lifecycle, community). Design mechanics tied to actual product behavior. Scale validated loops from manual to automated.
Lifecycle and Nurturing — nurture flows (email, retargeting, in-app), re-engagement campaigns, conversion acceleration triggers.
Three Phases
Foundation — tracking infrastructure, full funnel map with conversion rates, baseline CAC/LTV by channel and cohort, prioritized experimentation roadmap.
Ongoing — run experiments against the highest-impact bottleneck. Analyze results. Identify channels that produce high-retention users. Flag leading indicators of churn before lagging metrics catch them.
Optimization — reduce CAC and improve LTV over time. Scale validated growth loops. Manage the interaction between paid and organic.
You'll Thrive Here If You...
Have real technical range — product analytics (Mixpanel, Amplitude), SQL, CRM (HubSpot or Salesforce), experiment design (A/B, multi-variate, sequential), copywriting for variants, CAC/LTV spreadsheet modeling. You figure things out before asking.
Think in outcomes — you ask "what metric will this move?" before designing anything. You describe work as "improved activation by X% through an onboarding experiment," not "ran 12 experiments." You manage your own roadmap without being managed.
Operate like you own it — you spot funnel bottlenecks before anyone tells you. You stop underperforming tests based on data, not sunk cost. Every experiment ships with success criteria defined upfront, documented results, and the next test it triggered.
Have worked in PLG or Fintech — PLG: free-to-paid conversion, activation milestones, self-serve funnel experiments. Fintech: growth in a regulated or trust-sensitive context, where compliance shapes messaging and conversion cycles are longer. You don't need both — but one of the two matters here.
How It Works
This is a fractional role. You'll be matched to one or more client engagements based on availability and skill fit, embedded directly inside their tools from day one.
Work is structured around Capacity Units (CUs) — defined outputs with clear scope, not open-ended time. You are paid for what you ship, compensated fairly, and your reputation travels with us across every project.
