Goudy transport is a thriving family owned company, operating primarily in the southeast Saskatchewan oilfield. We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and expertise in the repair and maintenance of various types of heavy machinery. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, has excellent problem-solving skills and excellent time management.
Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in heavy equipment, including Semi trucks, trailers, and other related equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Assemble and disassemble components as needed for repairs or upgrades.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs to maintain equipment functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used for each job.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
Experience
- Experience in inspection, diagnosis, repair and service of heavy duty trucks and trailers
- Strong background in automotive repair or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with management and colleagues.
- Experience with fluid handling equipment such as tankers, pumps(T&E), etc is an asset
- Class 1 license an asset

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
