Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, taking orders accurately, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment where attention to detail, excellent communication, and food safety are essential. Prior food service or restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a passion for hospitality and customer service.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly and addressing any concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed during busy periods
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during shifts
- Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cashiering, billing, and upselling purposes
- Experience in hospitality or guest services roles is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are beneficial but not required
