BCRS is a leading traffic control company in western Canada looking for experienced TCP & Lane Closure Technicians (LCT), candidates will collaborate closely with the team to ensure the successful completion of projects and capitalize on growth prospects.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver services to client personnel on every site.
- Safely setting up and tearing down worksites
- Validate and adhere to safety protocols.
- Work with site crews and supervisors.
- Report improper or hazardous work practices and conditions.
- Maintain trucks in accordance with manufacturer specifications and monitor mileage to optimize fuel efficiency.
- Develop positive relationships with clients to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the WorkSafeBC Regulations for Traffic Control, Part 18.
Equipment Setup, Maintenance, and Inspection:
- Set up and maintain traffic control equipment.
- Regularly inspect devices to ensure safety and compliance.
Traffic and Pedestrian Direction:
- Direct traffic, pedestrians, and workers at road construction sites.
- Clear communication is crucial for effective traffic management.
Additional Labor Tasks:
- Be flexible and perform other labor duties as needed.

Requirements:
- Valid BCCSA TCP Certification
- Arrive on time for work
- Be willing to work with others.
- BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence and clean Driver’s Abstract
- Experience implementing Traffic Management Plans (TMPs)
- CSA-approved safety footwear
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
- Comfortable with the physical demands of the LCT role, including but not limited to:
- The ability to navigate a mobile dispatch app.
- Standing for long periods of time uninterrupted
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working as LCT.
- Ability to flexibly work in various shifts (day, afternoon, night) and all weather condition
