About the Role
As a Truck Shop Supervisor/Shop Foreman, you will be the go-to person for truck
repair and maintenance operations. You bring at least 5 years of supervisory or management
experience in the transportation industry and strong technical expertise as a 310T Journeyman
Truck Technician or Interprovincial Red Seal Technician.
You are a hands-on leader with excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
who is dedicated to keeping customers safely on the road.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote positive and professional relationships with customers and company personnel
- Conduct daily safety meetings and foster a strong culture of workplace safety
- Oversee repairs to ensure timeliness, quality, and accuracy while assisting with vehicle
repairs when needed
- Train, mentor, and supervise all Shop Service Department employees
- Improve customer service quality by evaluating and redesigning service processes
- Communicate service metrics and monitor department performance
- Analyze results and implement operational improvements
- Measure and develop department productivity, efficiency, and overall performance
- Assist the Service Manager with developing and maintaining training programs for
Service Department staff
Qualifications
310T Truck and Coach Technician License or Interprovincial Red Seal Certification- Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience in the transportation
industry
- Strong experience as a Journeyman Truck Mechanic (Hino experience preferred)
- Proven leadership, organization, and team development skills
