Little Haven Daycare is a new childcare centre committed to providing safe, nurturing, and developmentally enriching care where children feel supported, families feel welcomed, and learning happens through meaningful experiences and care.
Located within a church facility, Little Haven offers a warm, family-oriented environment focused on helping children grow, learn, and thrive through high-quality care, strong relationships, and engaging programming.
As we prepare to launch and grow, we are seeking an experienced and hands-on Daycare Operations Manager (ECE Required) to help lead the day-to-day operations of the centre.
This role is ideal for a strong childcare leader who enjoys taking ownership, leading teams, building relationships with families, and ensuring children receive exceptional care in a safe and supportive environment.

A Day in the Life
As the Daycare Operations Manager, you will play a key leadership role in the success of Little Haven by:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the daycare and after-school program
- Leading, coaching, and supporting a team of up to 10 staff members
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and retention of childcare staff
- Managing staff scheduling and ensuring appropriate classroom coverage and licensing ratios
- Stepping into classrooms and supporting programming when operational needs require
- Building strong relationships with families and serving as a key point of contact for parents
- Supporting enrollment growth and helping create an exceptional family experience
- Maintaining licensing requirements, health and safety standards, and operational compliance
- Helping foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture
- Working closely with ownership to support the continued success and growth of the centre
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- Valid Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certification in British Columbia (required)
- Minimum 3–5 years of childcare or daycare experience within a licensed childcare environment
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience in childcare strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of childcare licensing requirements, health and safety standards, and operational best practices
- Experience supporting staff leadership, coaching, recruitment, and team development
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with children, families, and staff
- Comfortable balancing operational leadership with hands-on classroom support when required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to problem solve and adapt in a dynamic environment
