OVERVIEW
We are seeking experienced Roofers to join our team. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on various types of buildings. This is a physically demanding role that requires working at heights and in various weather conditions. If you have the necessary skills and qualifications, we would love to hear from you.
DUTIES
- Install new roofs on residential and commercial buildings
- Repair and replace damaged or worn-out roofing materials
- Inspect roofs for leaks, damage, or other issues
- Remove debris and clean work areas after completing jobs
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete roofing tasks
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years experience or above
- Independently traveling as driving a car is required (Valid driver's license preferred)
* An apprenticeship or license in roofing or a relevant field is a plus.
QUALIFICATION
- Proven experience as a Roofer
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety procedures
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- Physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
SKILLS
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, etc.
- Experience working as a carpenter or in a related field is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of general maintenance person skills for repairs and maintenance work
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and understanding construction plans
- Caulking skills for sealing gaps and preventing leaks
- Ability to build structures according to specifications
