Casey Realty Limited is seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Worker to join our team in Amherst, Nova Scotia.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has strong attention to detail, and works well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials
- Perform pre-operational inspections on tools and equipment
- Read blueprints and determine work requirements
- Assist with framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
- Perform routine maintenance and construction support tasks
- Operate or assist with machines and equipment used in construction
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
Equipment & Tools Used
Experience with the following tools and equipment is an asset:
- Reciprocating saws
- Air compressors
- Air guns and nail guns
- Drills
- Forklift
- Hand tools
Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Previous construction experience is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Steel-toed safety boots required
- Criminal record check required
