Granville Veterinary Clinic is a privately owned small animal clinic (dogs & cats only) located in the west end of Edmonton. The practice is open Mon-Fri from 8 am - 6 pm, Sat 9 am - 2 pm, closed Sunday and stat holidays. The clinic utilizes Cornerstone software, digital x-ray and a full in house Idexx lab.
We are seeking a Veterinarian registered with the Alberta Medical Association, that is highly motivated and is an enthusiastic team player to join our clinic of 3 veterinarians, 4 RVT's and 4 reception/VMA's. Skills required would involve being able to preform routine surgeries such as spays, neuters, lumpectomies and dentals. This individual should have a variety of animal handling skills, including fear free techniques. Having good communication skills in a positive and friendly manner with the public and other staff members is a must. Being able to solve problems while work independently or as part of a team, as well as having computer skills would also be requirements.
The position is full time and will consist of four or five 8 hour shifts with a Saturday rotation. A part time position could also be considered. Wage is negotiable pending experience. Benefits include paid ABVMA dues, CE allowance, VIN membership & scrub allowances. A health plan is available if needed.
