Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified International Medical Graduate to join our medical clinic as a vital member of our healthcare team. This role offers an opportunity to apply your medical training and clinical skills in a dynamic environment dedicated to patient-centered care. This position requires travel between Cambridge and Milton clinics and km reimbursement will be provided.
Duties
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and support clinical workflows within the clinic setting
- Assist with patient care activities including medication administration, data collection, and documentation
- Support adult patients through various stages of treatment, including pain management
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Oscar
- Documentation and data entry
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Participate in research initiatives and quality improvement projects to enhance clinical practices
- Ensure adherence to medical terminology standards and clinic protocols for safe and effective care delivery
- Contribute to patient education efforts, promoting health literacy and preventive care strategies
Skills
- Prior hospital experience or background in acute care settings is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care procedures
- Experience with electronic health record systems such as Oscar
- Familiarity with research methodologies and data collection techniques in clinical environments
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and procedures
- Demonstrated competence in pain management
- Proven ability to work efficiently within a medical office setting while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality
