Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Truck Driver with Hiab Crane Operator certification to join our team. This role involves transporting materials and equipment to various job sites while operating a boom truck with precision and safety. The ideal candidate will possess construction experience, mechanical knowledge, and excellent communication skills to ensure efficient operations and superior customer service. Duties
- Safely operate a boom truck equipped with a Hiab crane for lifting and moving heavy loads at construction sites or industrial locations
- Transport materials, equipment, and supplies to designated locations in a timely manner
- Perform rigging and load securement using crane and rigging techniques to ensure safe transportation
- Conduct routine inspections of the crane and truck to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and site personnel regarding delivery schedules and operational details
- Assist with loading and unloading using forklift or other mechanical tools as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, inspections, and operational logs
- Adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies during all operations
Qualifications
- Valid CDL license with appropriate endorsements for crane operation (Hiab/boom truck)
- Construction experience preferred, with knowledge of rigging, crane operation, and mechanical systems
- Experience operating forklifts or other heavy machinery is a plus
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for effective communication on diverse job sites
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively
- Mechanical knowledge related to crane systems, trucks, and load securement techniques
- Excellent customer service skills to represent the company professionally during client interactions
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy loads safely
- Prior experience operating boom trucks or similar equipment is highly desirable
Pay: $39.50-$44.00 per hour
