Position Overview:
We are looking for motivated General Labourers to support our cladding installation crews on job sites across Atlantic Canada. This is a great entry point into the construction trades - no prior cladding experience is required. You will assist experienced installers while learning the trade on the job.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist cladding installers with material handling and preparation on site.
- Load, unload, and transport cladding panels, flashings, and tools.
- Set up scaffolding, ladders, and safety equipment as directed.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials for installation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Assist with site cleanup and end-of-day organization.
- Travel to job sites across Atlantic Canada as required.
Qualifications:
- No prior cladding experience required - training provided.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in all weather.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to travel for work.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn the trade.
- Steel-toed boots required (other PPE provided).
- Valid driver's licence is an asset.
- Construction Safety Training System (CSTS) certification is an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
