Who This Role Is For
This role is ideal for a lawyer who:
- Has at least 2 years’ experience, preferably in family law/divorce law
- Is genuinely interested in practicing family law
- Wants regular access to guidance, discussion, and mentorship
- Is comfortable asking questions and learning in real time
- Is looking to build a practice, not just manage files
The Opportunity
You will:
- Handle family and divorce files, including:
- Chambers applications
- Case conferences
- Negotiations and settlements
- Interim applications and trial work
- Receive ongoing, practical mentoring—not just occasional feedback
- Gradually develop confidence and judgment in litigation and client management
In addition to family law, you may also:
- Build experience in other practice areas you are interested in
- Develop your own files and client base over time

Compensation
