We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food handling and food safety regulations
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Serve dishes efficiently and professionally to guests, maintaining excellent food service standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing work areas, and proper storage of ingredients
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent contamination and accidents
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or food industry environment
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on presentation and customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and culinary best practices
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Kitchen experience that demonstrates versatility across various cuisines is preferred
- Passion for the food industry with a commitment to quality and safety standards
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
