VP Disposal is looking for a Porta Potty/Vac Truck Driver capable of handling a variety of tasks, with a minimum of 2 years experience. Must have a valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record. This is an outstanding opportunity for a Porta Potty/Vac Truck Driver to join our team and use their skills in a fast-paced and growing industry.
This position includes assisting in the back shop with cleaning porta potties, decaling, picking up porta potties, delivering porta potties, as well as cleaning porta potties on customer sites. There are a wide range of tasks that we need assistance with, and this position will cover them all. Some Saturdays are required in the summer months.
Responsibilities:
- Daily Pre & Post Trip Inspections
- Complete an assigned daily route in a timely and safe manner
- Must have experience running a Vac truck for the purpose of cleaning porta-potties and wash cars would be an asset.
- Perform driver check-ins at day’s end to ensure complete and accurate paperwork completion
- Ensure that all protocols are followed while dumping loads at municipal waste facilities
- Drive to a designated location and effectively clean both porta potties and wash cars
- Must be safety inclined
- Must be comfortable driving and operating a septic vacuum service truck throughout Calgary and the surrounding areas
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the truck
