The Tennis Centre is looking for an organized, proactive, and people-focused Operations Manager to join our leadership team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of our Surrey facility while serving as the primary front desk representative, ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers, staff, and community.
Schedule
This position follows a consistent weekly schedule:
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Thursday: 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM
- Friday: 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Saturday: 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM
Please note: Occasional flexibility is required to support special events, facility emergencies, or other operational needs outside of regular working hours.
What You'll Do
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the facility while serving as the primary front desk representative.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to customers, families, coaches, and guests.
- Lead, train, schedule, and support the front desk team.
- Manage registrations, website updates, and operational systems.
- Ensure the facility is organized, safe, and operating efficiently.
- Work closely with the leadership team to improve systems, processes, and the overall customer experience.
What We're Looking For
- Leadership or operations experience.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Experience in sport, recreation, hospitality, or facility management is considered an asset.
