Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver with a valid Ontario driver's license G2 or above to join our team. This role involves safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, with the ability to operate heavy equipment and commercial vehicles as needed. Duties
- Safely operate delivery trucks to transport goods to designated locations.
- Ensure all deliveries are accurate and completed within scheduled timeframes.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance or report issues for repair.
- Assist with warehouse operations, including freight handling and inventory management.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries.
Requirements
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Valid Ontario Driver's license: G2 or above
- No criminal record
- Clear driving record
Skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in delivery documentation.
- Excellent driving record with a valid driver’s license G2 or above
- Ability to operate heavy equipment when necessary, adhering to safety standards.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers.
- Physical stamina for lifting freight, loading/unloading cargo, and long periods of driving or standing. This role is vital for ensuring the smooth flow of goods from our facilities to our clients while maintaining high safety standards and excellent service quality.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
