As a Server at Denny's, you'll be responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience by providing friendly, prompt, and attentive service to guests. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure the restaurant environment is welcoming and clean.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly and warmly, escorting them to their seats.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure food is served in a timely manner and follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Respond to guest inquiries and accommodate special requests.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and daily specials.
- Ensure tables are properly set and maintained during service.
- Handle payments, process orders, and provide accurate checks to guests.
- Clean and reset tables after guests depart.
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Assist other team members as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a server or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and carry food trays for extended periods.
- Availability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team.
