What we offer:
- Full-time: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
- On-call: Once, every 3rd week, Monday to Monday 4:00 PM – 8:00 AM and all day on weekends
Responsibilities Include:
- Perform daily water testing of the pool and maintain proper chemical balance in accordance with provincial and local health regulations.
- Inspect pumps, filters, heaters, chlorination systems, and other pool equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Maintain accurate pool logs, water test records, and maintenance documentation
- Ensure the pool deck, change rooms, and surrounding amenities are clean, safe, and well maintained.
- Monitor inventory of pool chemicals, testing supplies, and maintenance equipment.
- Building inspections: daily, weekly, monthly & annual
- Emergency response and lock-ups
- Minor maintenance: drywall, plumbing, bulbs, doors, painting, etc.
- General knowledge of high-rise systems (boilers, shut-offs, sprinkler systems, intercoms)
- General upkeep of common shared areas
- Fire, safety & security protocols
- Seasonal maintenance (ensure proper snow removal, grounds care by contractors)
- Posting notices as required
- Regular reporting to property management
- Monitor parking and parking infractions
- Oversee cleaning staff- ensure tasks are being completed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of building maintenance experience
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
Strong knowledge of:
- High-rise apartment building systems
- Pool chemical maintenance
- Preventive maintenance techniques
- Fire plans & workplace safety programs
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Detail-oriented and capable of working independently
- Experience in condominium/property management
Assets:
- Prior experience as a superintendent
- Prior experience as pool operator
- Experience in condominium/property management
Criminal record check required.
Work Location: Live Out position
Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
