Pasadena Family Program Facilitator

Location: Pasadena and surrounding area
Hours: 35 hours per week /seasonal contract (Sept-June)
Salary: $18 per hour (starting)/ mileage will be reimbursed at provincial rate
Start Date: September 8, 2026
The Pasadena Family Program Facilitator provides daily age appropriate programming to children aged birth to 6 years and their families. It is also encouraged the facilitator be a part of community events and programs where appropriate. This position requires the facilitator to work in a team approach with the Pasadena Healthy Baby Club Facilitator to administer the Baby Steps program and other areas when needed.
Duties:
- Plan and facilitate quality developmentally appropriate programs for children birth to 6 years
- Work with children, parents/caregivers, and community members to identify programming needs
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the centre’s space, it’s equipment and materials, to provide a relaxed, clean, safe and healthy environment for program participants
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategies for outreach and promotion of the Family Resource Centre within the community
- Complete monthly, quarterly and annual statistics, be responsible for the ongoing evaluation of the centre’s programs, maintenance of records
- Ability to work independently, as well as a team member
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of early years, education and development; experience working with young children and families
- Program planning, facilitation, time management and organizational skills
- Post-secondary education in Early Childhood Education or related experiences/education an asset
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for work purposes
- The successful candidate will be asked to provide a Certificate of Conduct.
