Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our supportive housing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supportive care, including experience in supervising staff, managing medications, and have strong leadership skills. This role requires effective leadership skills and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the supportive living facility alongside the home manager, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Oversee staff performance, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality care for residents. Provide feedback to the home manager and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations of the facilities
- Complete and assess intake referrals forms that are recieved and add to waiting list or proceed with moving in clients once approved if beds are available
- Store and manage medications safely and securely for all residents
- Manage budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately to meet the needs of residents and staff.
- Complete fees collection on monthly basis and provide reports to Home manager/ownership
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supportive living setting is ideal but not required
- Strong knowledge of mental health, drug addictions, crisis intervention
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
- Strong organizational skills with experience in budgeting and resource management.
