Using AI and computer vision, Tavo automatically analyzes volleyball matches, generates highlights, tracks statistics, and helps athletes, coaches, and families relive every important moment from a game.
Today, Tavo processes thousands of matches every week for hundreds of paying clubs and teams across North America, including some of the top-ranked volleyball programs in Canada and the United States.
Over the past couple of months, Tavo has grown revenue by more than 300%, and demand continues to accelerate across youth sports. We’re building one of the fastest-growing volleyball technology platforms in North America and are looking for ambitious people to help scale it.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a highly driven Growth & Sales Lead to help aggressively grow Tavo across clubs, teams, facilities, and organizations.
This is a high-output sales role focused on outreach, demos, relationship building, and closing deals quickly. You’ll be speaking with club directors, coaches, facility operators, and organizations every day, helping introduce them to a product that already has strong traction and credibility in the volleyball space.
The sales cycles are typically fast because the product is already being used by many top clubs and teams across Canada and the US.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys fast-paced environments, communicating with people, closing deals, and helping scale a startup.
What You’ll Do
- Reach out to volleyball clubs, teams, organizations, and facilities daily
- Run product demos and onboarding calls
- Build relationships with directors, coaches, and decision-makers
- Pitch Tavo’s platform and communicate product value clearly
- Follow up with leads and move deals through the pipeline quickly
- Help close partnerships, contracts, and subscriptions
- Work closely with founders on growth strategy and expansion
- Identify new opportunities and markets within youth sports
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of sales or business development experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable speaking with customers daily
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Ability to move quickly and operate independently
- Strong work ethic and high ownership mindset
- Comfortable working in-person in Markham, Ontario
Nice to Have
- Experience in sports, startups, SaaS, or customer-facing roles
- Understanding of volleyball or youth sports ecosystems
- Experience running demos, outbound outreach, or closing deals
Compensation
- Base salary: $50,000 – $80,000 CAD
- Commission for signed deals and partnerships
