House of Chan is currently hiring a full-time Cook / Kitchen Team Member to join our team in the Saint John area.
We’re looking for someone reliable, hard-working, and flexible who is comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and open to working between multiple House of Chan locations as needed.
Kitchen experience is definitely an asset, but we are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic and the right attitude.
Position Details
- Full-time preferred (32–40 hours/week)
- Part-time may be considered for candidates with open availability
- Primarily afternoon/evening shifts (typically starting around 2–3 PM)
- Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Opportunity for long-term growth within the company
Wage & Perks

What You’ll Be Doing
This is a hands-on kitchen role where team members are trained to handle all areas of kitchen operations over time, including:
- Food prep
- Fryer and wok cooking
- Building combo orders
- Packing takeout orders
- Cleaning and dishwashing
- Opening and closing duties
- Walk-in organization and stocking
- Managing ticket orders during busy periods

- Leadership qualities are a bonus, but not required
Requirements
- Valid driver’s licence
- Reliable transportation
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Able to stand for long periods
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Must be 18 years of age or older
