Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional cleaning services primarily in residential settings, ensuring spaces are spotless, organized, and welcoming. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, excellent time management, and a passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French is a plus. Previous experience in cleaning, laundry, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitizing
- Manage laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
- Prepare and assist with light cooking tasks as needed to support client requests
- Maintain organized cleaning supplies and ensure equipment is properly stored and maintained
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and courteously
- Schedule and prioritize cleaning tasks efficiently to meet deadlines
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning preferences and requirements
- Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and confidentiality during all duties
Experience
- Prior experience in residential cleaning, hospitality, or related fields is advantageous but not required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a plus
- Ability to perform light cooking and laundry tasks efficiently
- Demonstrated reliability with good organizational and time management abilities
- Experience working in customer service environments is beneficial
