Location: Edmonton, AB (on-site)
Type: Part-time to start (1–3 days/week), potential full time by end of 2026.
Hours: Regular business hours, weekdays between 9am-5pm.
Who We Are
Nerd Gear Gaming makes premium accessories for Magic: The Gathering, D&D, and tabletop gamers — playmats, card sleeves, life counters, dice, and more. We're a small Edmonton-based crew shipping gear to players across North America, and we're growing fast. This is a chance to get in early at a company built by gamers, for gamers.
The Role
You'll work alongside the owner and the production lead, helping keep orders moving and the warehouse running smoothly. Day to day, that means:
- Picking, packing, and shipping customer orders
- Assisting with playmat production (printing and heat pressing — we'll train you)
- Product packaging and labelling
- Receiving and putting away inventory shipments
- Keeping the warehouse and production areas clean and organized
- Helping with inventory counts and prepping for conventions and events
- Pitching in on whatever else a growing business throws at us
The role starts at 1–3 days per week, but we expect it to grow to near full-time by Q4 as order volume ramps up. And it doesn't stop there — as we scale, this role has a clear path toward Warehouse Manager for the right person. If you're looking for a foot in the door with real room to grow, this is it.
What We're Looking For
- A quick learner — you'll be picking up new processes and equipment constantly, and this is critical for the role
- Sharp attention to detail — from production quality to packing accuracy, the little things matter here, and our customers notice
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated — you see what needs doing and do it
- Comfortable with physical work: standing for long stretches and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Able to follow production processes consistently and flag problems early
- Bonus points if you play MTG, D&D, or other tabletop games (you'll fit right in — but it's not required)
No warehouse experience needed — we'll teach you everything. Attitude and reliability matter more than your resume.
