Level II Dental Assistant – Experienced Lead Role

Kanata South Dental Clinic is looking for an experienced, motivated, and career-focused Level II Dental Assistant to join our growing team.

What We Are Looking For
- Certified Level II Dental Assistant
- Minimum 3+ years of dental assisting experience preferred
- Experience with:
- Dental implants
- Root canal procedures
- Crown and bridge procedures
- Digital x-rays
- Intraoral scanner for aligner patients (Trios or similar scanners preferred)
- Strong knowledge of sterilization and infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and patient management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized, disciplined, and focused on responsibilities
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
- Someone looking for a long-term permanent position
Main Responsibilities
- Chairside assisting during dental procedures
- Assisting with implant, endodontic, crown, and restorative treatments
- Taking digital x-rays and intraoral scans for aligner patients
- Preparing and sterilizing instruments and operatories
- Supporting smooth daily clinical flow
- Assisting with patient treatment coordination
- Working closely with the dentist regarding clinical organization
- Monitoring and organizing dental supplies and inventory
- Helping manage sterilization area together with other dental assistants
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and patient care
Additional Leadership Responsibilities
After regular assisting duties, this role may also include:
- Coordinating clinical workflow with the dentist
- Assisting with supply ordering and inventory management
- Helping maintain organization within the assisting department
- Supporting team communication and daily operations
