Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and ensure proper verification
- Provide patient counselling on medication use, side effects, interactions, and chronic disease management
- Deliver clinical services such as injections, medication reviews, prescription adaptations, and other provincially authorized services
- Maintain inventory, ensure safe storage, and manage pharmaceutical disposal
- Use pharmacy systems and workflow tools efficiently to support smooth operations
- Follow federal/provincial regulations and company SOPs
- Contribute to pharmacy performance goals and business objectives
- Collaborate with pharmacy assistants, technicians, and store teams
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast‑paced retail environment
Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist in the province of practice (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certification to administer injections (where applicable)
- Strong understanding of provincial scope of practice (prescribing, renewals, lab requisitions, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and ability to follow established workflows
- Retail or community pharmacy experience preferred, but new grads are welcome for many locations
