Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dog Bather to join our pet care team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about animals and committed to providing excellent grooming services. This role involves bathing, drying, and grooming dogs to ensure they look and feel their best. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills are essential for success in this position.
Duties
- Bath and dry dogs using appropriate grooming products and techniques
- Assist with brushing, and other grooming tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of grooming areas and equipment
- Handle dogs safely and compassionately during all grooming procedures
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming needs and special instructions
- Assist with heavy lifting when handling larger or heavier dogs
- Ensure a comfortable and stress-free environment for pets during their grooming session
Experience
- Prior experience in pet grooming or dog bathing is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with pet owners
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when necessary
- Passion for animals and a caring attitude toward pets of all sizes
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
