We're looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Compliance Specialist to help strengthen that commitment by supporting our branches, coaching our teams, and driving continuous improvement across our Health & Safety programs.

Health & Safety | Field Audits | Coaching | Compliance | Continuous Improvement
Location: Oakville, ON (Hybrid)
Travel: Primarily Eastern Canada (typically once every 1-2 months, with additional travel during audit and certification periods)
What You'll Do
This is a hands-on role that combines field work, coaching, auditing and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with branch leaders and employees to strengthen our "Choose the Safe Way, Always" culture while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and regulatory requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting branch audits, inspections and field observations
- Coaching supervisors and employees on safe work practices
- Supporting incident investigations and corrective actions
- Monitoring trends and identifying opportunities to improve safety performance
- Supporting COR, ISO and other compliance programs
- Coordinating safety training and maintaining training records
- Supporting WSIB claims management and return-to-work processes, when required
- Assisting with policy updates and continuous improvement initiatives
- Partnering with branch leadership to build consistency across our operations
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone with a strong Health & Safety background who enjoys working with people just as much as processes.
Required
- 3+ years of experience in a Health & Safety, EHS or compliance role in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, service or other field-based environment
- Experience conducting workplace inspections, audits and incident investigations
- Strong understanding of occupational Health & Safety legislation and best practices
- Excellent communication and coaching skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout Eastern Canada
Assets
Experience in any of the following would be considered an asset:
- CRSP, CRST or another Health & Safety designation
- COR auditing
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditing
- WSIB claims management and return-to-work coordination
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
- Quality management systems
- Fire protection, industrial safety or another regulated service environment
