Baywood Interior Millwork is an award winning, architectural millwork, custom woodwork and, store fixture manufacturer, located in the Bridgeport Business Park, Kitchener, ON, near the picturesque Grand River
We operate in the ICI, (industrial, commercial, and, institutional) construction fields, as well as, many retail store fixture environments.
In our 32nd year of operation, Baywood continues to grow and diversify its operations, and, is looking for the right candidate to join our team.
Education:
Graduate of Conestoga College:
-Woodworking Technology/Technician Programs, or, Woodworking Technology/Architectural Millwork Program
Program Graduates of other Ontario Colleges equivalent programs will also be considered
Experience:
Woodworking/Cabinetmaking Experience is required
For Junior Project Coordinator a graduate of one of the above programs, plus 1-2 years of current, relevant, industry specific, project coordinators experience
For Intermediate Project Coordinator 3-5 years of current, relevant, industry specific, project coordinators experience
Job description:
Primary Job Duties:
-coordination of successful tenders from the shop drawing stage, through to the final installation on site
-will include job specific material takeoffs, purchasing, and, site visits, site meetings, and, site measuring as required
-working under our senior project managers, and, with our management team, to meet, and or exceed, customer and company expectations
-correspondence with Architects, Designers, General Contractors and clients
-able to multi task, running numerous projects at the same time
-able to work both independently, and, in a team environment
-other duties as assigned by our Operations Manager

-Excellent phone and computer skills, including microsoft outlook, word, excel

-The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, aggressive, and, dedicated to the overall success of the company
-We are looking for someone that’s results orientated, with a proven successful track record
-Must have own vehicle, clean drivers abstract, and, the ability to obtain clean criminal record checks for security clearances required on various projects

Rate:
-Hourly, 44 hours weekly
