Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Material Handler and become a vital part of our fast-paced warehouse operations! In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and distribution of materials to ensure seamless supply chain flow. This role ensures the timely flow of materials throughout the facility while maintaining inventory accuracy, product integrity, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Material Management
- Receive, transport, stage, and replenish raw materials, packaging materials, and supplies to support production requirements.
- Ensure materials are available to production lines in accordance with established schedules and priorities.
- Remove finished goods, scrap, and waste materials from production areas.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities as required.
Inventory Control
- Accurately record material movements using scanners, inventory systems, or manual documentation.
- Verify material identification, quantities, lot numbers, and product status.
- Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory reconciliation activities.
- Report inventory discrepancies or shortages promptly.
Warehouse and Production Support
- Maintain orderly storage areas and ensure materials are properly stored and identified.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as required.
- Support production teams by ensuring uninterrupted material flow.
Safety and Quality
- Follow all health and safety, food safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Report damaged materials, equipment concerns, safety hazards, or quality issues.
- Participate in housekeeping and sanitation activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling environments considered an asset.
- Forklift certification or the ability to become certified considered an asset.
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or related warehouse experience
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other load & unload machinery
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for order picking and inventory control
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with shipping & receiving processes is highly desirable
- Construction or industrial experience is a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 lbs.
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and environmental conditions.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
