TENTEN Kitchens is growing again! We design and craft beautiful, highly functional kitchens and residential spaces and are known for our exceptional craftsmanship and outstanding client service. We are seeking a creative, motivated, and sales-driven, full-time Designer to join our collaborative team. This role combines technical design expertise with active sales consultation to turn our clients' dream homes into reality.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Sales
- Meet with prospective clients in their home to understand their needs, present options, and guide them through the design process.
- Prepare detailed concept design drawing packages, floor plans, and functional layouts using Revit.
- Provide clients the assistance and close deals from design concept to construction
- Assist clients in pre construction design selecting materials, finishes, fixtures, millwork layout, and hardware.
- Prepare project contracts and work with GM on project pricing, present proposals, and close sales to achieve individual and team goals.
- Conduct site visits to take accurate measurements and assess spatial constraints and work through site conditions and constraints.
- Manage client relationships and drive projects forward within the large scale phases (1. Design and Sales , 2. Pre Construction Design , 3. Construction Monitoring ) and sub phases.
- Provide design and project information to the project manager.
- Maintain and organize the showroom material and sample library and help to improve the design department and systems.
Qualifications:
- Interior Design education, kitchen design experience, or related residential design background (Bachelor of Environmental Design preferred).
- Proficient in Revit.
- Proven track record in sales and interior design consulting.
- Excellent interpersonal, detail management, and closing skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and work with the end in mind.
- Genuine passion for residential kitchen design, spatial planning, and construction.
- Knowledge or Experience in kitchen cabinet construction, spatial layout, or custom millwork is considered a strong asset. Or previous design build process experience.
- Must have a valid drivers license and access to a vehicle.
