Responsibilities
- Perform detailed cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and surface disinfecting across multiple areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and applying protective finishes to maintain optimal appearance and safety.
- Handle janitorial tasks with precision to ensure restrooms, kitchens, lobbies, and common areas are spotless and well-stocked.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for fixtures, lighting, or equipment to ensure continuous operational efficiency.
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects when required, utilizing specialized tools and techniques to manage heavy-duty cleaning tasks.
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness by following proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Document completed tasks accurately in logs or reports to ensure accountability and seamless communication within the team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within commercial or industrial settings.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing to enhance surface longevity.
- Familiarity with residential painting or facilities maintenance is a plus for versatile task execution.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers or industrial vacuums safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results in every task performed.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize daily duties efficiently during daytime hours.
