The successful candidate will manage the Enterprise Business of a sales team and manage the leads/activities of the Account Managers to deliver the Enterprise sales number. The role involves profiling / quoting / closing enterprise sales opportunities and supporting individual team members to become more proficient at selling Servers, Storage and Services. This role is ideal for somebody wishing to further their career in technical sales.
Responsibilities:
- Design enterprise solutions that meet the required customer needs
- Configure systems for areas that include Compute, Storage, networking and Hyper Converged technologies
- Identify competitive strengths and weaknesses of configurations and implements appropriate change
- Possess strong understanding of NMSO, NESS and other Federal Government purchase vehicles
- Possess excellent consultation skills
- Qualify customer needs — profiling etc
Role Requirements:
- Aptitude to work in a technical environment with technical products
- Proven experience in a sales role
- Excellent analytical and decision making skills
- Good written and presentation skills
- Technical and/or Sales certifications for HP, Dell, Cisco, Nutanix, NetApp
Preferences:
An excellent understanding of Dell , HP, NetApp, Cisco, Nutanix Enterprise Technologies
Knowledge of VMware solutions
Previous experience in a Technical Sales Role
