Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Mechanic to join our team, providing expert automotive repair and maintenance services. The ideal candidate will possess dealership experience, strong mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with various tools and schematics. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanship. The Licensed Mechanic will play a vital part in maintaining the safety and reliability of our vehicles while adhering to industry standards and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues using schematics and mechanical knowledge
- Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently
- Follow manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines during all repair procedures
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they become major issues
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and parts used
- Assist with vehicle diagnostics using advanced diagnostic equipment
- Ensure all work meets dealership or industry quality standards
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and addressing customer concerns
Skills
- Dealership experience is highly desirable, with a strong background in automotive repair
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes
- Solid mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Experience with heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with vehicle maintenance
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety protocols in an automotive environment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour
