Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Landscape Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes through various gardening, horticulture, and construction tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess mechanical knowledge, and be skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators. Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces
- Operate machinery such as ride on mowers, pushmowers/ skidsteers
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for landscaping projects and general maintenance
- Assist with construction activities related to landscape projects, including soil preparation, planting beds, and hardscaping
- Conduct routine inspections of irrigation systems and perform necessary repairs or adjustments
- Maintain equipment through basic mechanical knowledge to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and uphold high-quality standards
Experience
- Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not a necessity.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques, including use of hand tools, power tools, and machinery operation
- Experience working with horticultural plants and understanding of plant health care is advantageous
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting and basic repairs

Pay: $16.51-$25.00 per hour
