We are seeking an experienced EPIC ASAP Consultant to support the implementation, optimization, maintenance, and enhancement of the EPIC ASAP application. The ideal candidate will work closely with emergency department (ED) clinicians, nursing staff, physicians, and operational teams to configure workflows, troubleshoot issues, support system upgrades, and deliver high-quality solutions that improve patient care and operational efficiency.
Design, configure, build, and maintain the EPIC ASAP application.
Analyze emergency department workflows and translate business requirements into system solutions.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, clinicians, and operational stakeholders to optimize ED workflows.
Participate in application implementation, upgrades, optimization, and enhancement projects.
Perform system configuration, validation, and documentation.
Conduct unit testing, integrated testing, regression testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely application support.
Work with integrated EPIC applications such as Orders, Cadence, Prelude, ClinDoc, Ambulatory, MyChart, Cogito, and other clinical modules.
Support data conversion, workflow validation, and go-live activities.
Develop and maintain build documentation, workflow diagrams, and training materials.
Participate in on-call support as required.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, organizational policies, and healthcare regulatory standards.
