Job Summary
FDI Poultry Equipment is a leading manufacturer of poultry cage systems for farms across North America and we are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to assist with the daily operations within our manufacturing environment.
We are looking for someone with experience assembling equipment and operating machinery. You should be able to read drawings and have strong problem-solving skills. The work is hands-on and varied and will involve some work off-site at customer locations.

Responsibilities
- Pivot between many key functions including: assembly, processing material, and preparing pallets for shipping
- Daily operation of machinery & tools including: impact wrenches, grinders, nibbler, forklift, and drill press.
- Problem-solving BOM and drawing issues if they come up
- Troubleshooting equipment and repairing if necessary.
- Commuting to service calls at customer locations
Requirements
- Proven experience in an assembly role
- Independent worker
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Willingness to spend some time on the road for service calls to customer locations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Forklift certification is required; willingness to become certified if not currently held.
Helpful to have:
- Warehouse experience
- Shipping/packaging experience
