Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Proficiency in medical terminology, medication administration, and electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner is essential. The Nurse Practitioner will play a vital role in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and case management.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments following established protocols
- Manage chronic conditions such as dementia care, pain management, and other complex cases
- Document patient interactions accurately using electronic health records (Epic, Cerner)
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment options
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies
Experience
- Experience with electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner is highly desirable
- Strong case management abilities with a focus on patient-centered outcomes
- Prior experience in medical office settings or laboratory environments is a plus
