Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and versatile Handyman with specialized expertise in flooring, restoration, and finishing for commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the following areas: Hardwood Floors, Doors, Cabinetry and Millwork, Mullion Repairs, Bathroom/Kitchen Finishing, Glass Scratch Removal, Stone Restoration, Stainless Steel, Bathtub Restoration, and Appliance Restoration. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality repair and finishing work across multiple areas of expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform specialized repairs and restorations including:
- Hardwood flooring and door repairs
- Cabinetry and millwork
- Mullion repairs for windows and glass
- Bathroom and kitchen finishing
- Glass scratch removal and stone restoration
- Stainless steel, bathtub, and appliance restoration
- Assess project requirements and recommend repair or restoration solutions
- Work closely with project managers to ensure all work meets company and client quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site efficiently
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Travel to various commercial job sites as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience in some of the listed specialized areas (Hardwood Floors, Doors, Cabinetry, Millwork, Mullion Repairs, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
- Ability to manage multiple tasks across different projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (required)
- Flexibility to travel to different job sites
- Good communication and teamwork skills
